SilverCeil Insulation is manufactured by Silver Batts Insulation Systems one of Australia’s leading reflective insulation manufacturers.
Silverceil reflective insulation provides an excellent barrier to radient heat, keeping buildings cool in summer and warm in winter, saving energy and reducing greenhouse gases.
SilverCeil acts as a radiant barrier to prevent heat from entering your home. Radiant heat accounts for 87% of the total heat entering through the ceiling and 70% of the heat entering through the walls.
One-way heat valve
Prevent heat gain during the day; but allow rapid cooling at night.
Asthma friendly
Non allergenic, no health risk.
Fire resistant
When tested for Flammability in accordance with AS1530.2-1993, SilverCeil achieved a Flammability Index of just 1, an impressive result given that the maximum index permitted to be designated “Low Flammability” is 5.

Occupational health and safety
No protective clothing or breathing filters are required.
Moisture resistance
A build-up of moisture can contribute to dry rot or corrosion and eventual failure of timber and steel structural members. Non-absorbent SilverCeil is not affected by condensation which dramatically reduces the insulation rating of bulk insulations.
Environmentally friendly
It is estimated that SilverCeil uses as little as one quarter of the energy required to manufacture insulation materials of similar summer performance (based on research by CSIRO and other independent experts).
Complies with Australia/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 4859.1 and AS/NZS 4200.1
